About us
Florencia and Milan met at Vienna International School, many moons ago, when she moved from Argentina to Vienna in 2005. They were both in grade 7 and shared the math classroom. For Milan, it was love at first sight, and it would take him 3 years to win her heart. In 2009 things got “serious”, and after many roses, MSN chats and break time hang outs they became a couple. In 2011 they parted ways to University in the UK, Florencia to Brighton and Milan to Bradford. After a year of train rides, visits from north to south and south to north across the UK, Milan decided to join her in Brighton and continue his studies together (he couldn’t stay away from her).
In the years after university Milan got a job offer of his dreams that he could not refuse (sometimes cars are a priority) and moved to Crewe and Leipzig while Florencia continued her studies in London and Vienna.
After many visits from Leipzig to London, Vienna to Crewe, Leipzig to Vienna and so forth (you get the idea), after many holidays together to dream destinations, and after countless visits to their families in Slovakia and Argentina, in 2019 they decided to settle and call Vienna once again their home.
In the summer of 2020, after 10 years of their relationship, in the middle of a pandemic, while on a trip to Tuscany, when Florencia least expected it (shocking) Milan decided to finally ask her to marry him. A few months later, during another wave of Covid while on lockdown, breaking some or all rules, they decided it was the perfect time to make it official with a very small civil wedding in Klosterneuburg with just a few friends and family. Little Santino was already on the way, and shortly after he made his way into the world changing their lives forever. They could not be happier to celebrate life as one with all of their most loved family and friends from all over the world in one place together.

We have reserved all the rooms at Zamok Topolcianky (2 nights, 1st-3rd July), please contact Tereza from wedding agency to reserve your room. (first come first serve basis).
Zámok Topolčianky
The castle is located in an English park, which provides an oasis of peace and quiet. The three renaissance wings of the chateau with an attic superstructure currently serve as a hotel part. We provide accommodation of European standard in a beautiful historical environment.
There is also rooms available following hotels very near the venue: Hradna Straz, Stara Skola, Gazdovsky

Transportation
By plane
Nearest airports: Vienna or Bratislava
By car
This is the best option as Topolcianky (NOT Topolcany!!) is a bit remote. There are plenty of rental car options at Vienna and Bratsialava airport. The drive from Bratislava airport to Zamok Topolcianky is about 1 hour and 15 minutes (117km); from Vienna airport it’s 1 hour and 50 minutes (185km).
Public transport
Bus/coach: options from Vienna/Bratislava, best booked/informed on https://cp.hnonline.sk/
Train: no direct train to Topolcianky unfortunately. The nearest stop is either Zlate Moravce or Kozarovce, from where you have to change to a bus service or taxi.

Parking
Free parking is available in front of the hotel Hradná Stráž. Parking is also available in the village center and is free of charge.

Please be sure to check with your rental car provider if the toll (vignette/dialnicna znamka) was paid for Slovak highways. If not, please be sure to buy a vignette online at https://eznamka.sk/selfcare/purchase to avoid any unnecessary penalties.
